This 3-day course includes the same C.H.I. product knowledge and Anatomy of Residential Sectional doors included in the 2-100 (4-day) course. Additionally the course incorporates review and discussion of the IDEA curriculum for Certification that is earned by passing a comprehensive written examination based on the IDEA Residential Installer Certification Study Guide. In the Tech Center, students will install two residential doors with focus on best practice installation and safety techniques. How to effectively address common residential doors and openers service issues will be taught. Included in this course is a C.H.I. plant tour. The class concludes with a final review, written test and IDEA Residential Installer Certification examination.
Note: this class is weighted towards classroom time versus installation.
Recommended for: Residential Installers with 1+ years of experience or completion of Residential 2-100
